Sanjiv Puri (62) is the Chairman of Surya Nepal Private Limited, since February 2017. Prior to this, he was the Non-Executive Director of the Company since December, 2015. He has also served as the Managing Director of the Company during October 2001 to May 2006.

Puri is the Chairman & Managing Director of ITC Limited (‘ITC’), holding company of SNPL, and is also the Chairman of some of the ITC’s group companies including ITC Hotels Limited and ITC Infotech India Limited. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and the Wharton School of Business, USA.

Puri joined ITC in 1986. During his career of close to four decades at ITC and its subsidiaries, he has held several business leadership positions and also handled a wide range of responsibilities in manufacturing, operations and information & digital technology. Puri served as the Chief Operating Officer of ITC between July 2016 and January 2017, and prior to that as President - FMCG Businesses since December 2014. Earlier, he was the Divisional Chief Executive of the India Tobacco Division since December 2009, with additional responsibility for the Company's Trade Marketing & Distribution Vertical from August 2012. He led ITC Infotech India Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ITC, as its Managing Director from May 2006 to August 2009.

Spearheading the 'ITC Next' vision, Puri has driven an extensive strategy reset to define new vectors of growth for each business with greater focus on consumer-centricity, agility, resilience and innovation to build an even more competitive, future-ready, climate positive and inclusive enterprise. Puri's emphasis on purposeful and cutting-edge innovation has led to the creation of sharp focused R&D platforms in areas aligned to market opportunities. Given his deep conviction that mega trends like Digital and Sustainability will reshape the future, Puri has passionately rallied ITC to develop capabilities, channelise investments and resources to enhance competitiveness of existing businesses, and also identify tech-enabled growth opportunities. Lending new wings to ITC's credo of 'Nation First: Sab Saath Badhein', he has articulated an ambitious Sustainability 2.0 vision that will enlarge ITC's contributions to a net-zero future and meaningfully support national priorities.

Puri has served as the Chairman of the Expert Group constituted by the Fifteenth Finance Commission of the Government of India to promote agri-exports and a Member of the technology discussion group 'Farm to Table - driving India's agriculture sector digitally' constituted by the NITI Aayog. He was also the Chairman of the 'Action Council on ESG in Business' under the aegis of Business 20 India, the official dialogue forum with the global business community as part of India's G20 Presidency, as well as the Co-Chair of the 'Business Commission to Tackle Inequality' set up by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, Geneva.

Presently, Puri is the President of CII, the apex business and industry association in India.
He is the Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, India and Chairman of the Advisory Council of the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development, India. He is a Director on the Board of US-India Strategic Partnership Forum, Member of the BRICS Business Council - India Chapter, and also a Member of the Governing Body of the National Council of Applied Economic Research, India.

In 2024, Puri was honoured with the 'Business Leader of the Year Award' by the All India Management Association, 'Best CEO Award' by Business Today, and 'Transformational Leader Award 2022-23' by the Asian Centre for Corporate Governance and Sustainability. He was conferred with the 'IMPACT Person of the Year, 2020' Award by exchange4media, a leading online news platform, 'Distinguished Alumnus Award of the year 2018' by the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and was also bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate by the XIM University, Bhubaneshwar, India.

Supratim Dutta (58) joined the Board in July 2018. Dutta is the Chief Financial Officer and a Wholetime Director on the Board of ITC Limited (‘ITC’), holding Company of SNPL, and is inter alia, responsible for Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit & IT Functions and also for the Investment Subsidiaries of ITC. He is also on the Boards of some of the ITC’s group companies including ITC Hotels Limited and ITC Infotech India Limited.

A qualified Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Dutta joined ITC in November 1990. In a career spanning over three decades at ITC, he has held various senior roles in the finance function, both at the business and corporate level. Before becoming the CFO, he held the position of the Corporate Financial Controller of ITC responsible for Accounts, Taxation and Finance operations, and prior to that, he was Executive Vice President - Corporate Finance in charge of the Corporate Treasury, Strategic Planning and Corporate Planning Functions of ITC. He has handled various aspects of finance including Planning, Treasury, M&A, Accounting, Taxation, IT, Investor Relations and business strategy. He has served as a Member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development CFO Network.

He is also a Member of the CII National Committee on Financial Reporting.

Rajendra Kumar Singhi (60) joined the Board in February 2018. Singhi is the Executive Vice President & Company Secretary of ITC Limited (‘ITC’), holding Company of SNPL. He is also on the Boards of some of the ITC’s group companies including ITC Hotels Limited and ITC Infotech India Limited. 

A Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Law Graduate, Singhi has an experience of over 39 years in Corporate Laws and governance related matters. Prior to appointment as Company Secretary, Singhi was the Senior Deputy Secretary of ITC. He has been the Chairman of the Corporate Governance Committee of The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Co-Chairman of the Governance Committee of the CII Eastern Region, and a Member of the Secretarial Standards Board of the ICSI.

He is also a Member of the CII National Committee on Regulatory Affairs.

During the year 2020-21, Singhi was awarded the 'Governance Professional of the year Award' by the ICSI for his contribution towards adoption of effective governance processes in ITC.

Sandeep Kaul (58) joined the Board in July 2022. Kaul is the Member of the Corporate Management Committee of ITC Limited (‘ITC’), holding Company of SNPL. He is the Group Head at ITC for India Tobacco Division, Matches & Agarbattis Business, Start-up Ventures and LSTC & Quality.

A Mechanical Engineer from BIT, Ranchi and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Kaul joined ITC   in the Marketing function of the India Tobacco Division in 1990. Between 1990 and 1999, he handled a variety of assignments in both Sales as well as Brand Management. He has been Branch Manager at ITC's Delhi and Bengaluru branches. Between 1999 and 2001, he headed the Market Research group.

Kaul became associated with ITC's new FMCG initiatives in 2001, focusing on the development of the Personal Care Business from inception overseeing the creation of the Brand portfolio of Fiama, Vivel, Engage, acquisition of Savlon and setting up greenfield manufacturing sites at Haridwar and Manpura. He took over as its Chief Executive in 2007. Thereafter, he took over as the Divisional Chief Executive of India Tobacco Division in 2016.

Kaul has been invited to serve on the Jury at the International Festival of Creativity at Cannes in 2013 and has also served on the Executive Council of The Indian Society of Advertisers.

He is also a director on the Board of the Tobacco Institute of India.

Siddhartha SJB Rana (58) joined the Board in May, 2002, as a representative of Rana Group of Shareholders. He is also the Chairman of the Siprabhya Group, Nepal and holds directorships in several companies across the automobile, hydropower, and trading sectors, including Sipradi Group of Companies, Bhote Koshi Power Company Private Limited, and the Amravati Group of Companies.

An MBA from the Henley School of Management, UK, and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Political Science from the University of Redlands, California, Rana began his career with Grindlays Bank Nepal in 1991 and moved onto Barclays Bank Plc in London. He has over thirty years of experience in banking and corporate management.

He was recognized as a 'Global Leader for Tomorrow' by the World Economic Forum in 2001.

Sashi Raj Pandey (78) joined the Board in May, 2009, as a representative of Rana Group of Shareholders. He also holds directorships in several companies spanning finance, technology, and hospitality, including Shree Investment and Finance Company Limited, Leapfrog Technology, Nepal and Soaltee Hotel Limited.

An M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from People’s Friendship University, Moscow, Russia and an M.S. in Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston, USA, Pandey’s work has been recognized with prestigious memberships and awards, including Gorkha Dakshina Bahu.

Pandey has over five decades of experience in management and finance. With a distinguished career that includes significant contributions across sectors, he has played a pivotal role in various governmental and private capacities.

He is also a former President of Nepal India Chamber of Commerce and Industries (NICCI).

Ravi Rayavaram (52) joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer (‘COO’) in July 2021 and became its Managing Director in March 2022.  He is also the Chairman of Surya Nepal Ventures Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.

A mechanical engineer and a post graduate in Management from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, Ravi has over 25 years of experience with specialization in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Strategy, Leadership & Change Management.

Ravi joined ITC Limited in the year 2003 and has worked across multiple businesses in the FMCG sector and has handled several senior management roles.

He is a National Council member of the Chamber of Nepalese Industry (CNI) and Vice President of Nepal India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI).
