SNPL Prakriti is a CSR Platform directed at “Creating enduring value through environment preservation”.

The company’s strategy under this CSR platform is to enhance awareness amongst the local community to achieve environmentally sustainable development through greenery and tree plantation projects.

Projects under this platform have included Afforestation programmes, such as eucalyptus and poplar tree plantation. The company has provided financial and technical support to farmers in the production of ‘vermicompost’ to encourage the use of manure, as well as construction of water harvesting ponds on waste lands. The company has also been actively associated with the ‘Green Birgunj’ campaign by planting trees at various locations of the town.
